Nele Meryem Aktas

My name is Nele Meryem Aktas, I am 18 years old, and I come from near Düsseldorf. Currently, I am studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics in Vienna. Since my time in the student union I have been advocating for climate protection and have participated in several youth conferences organized by Kindernothilfe, where I was involved in shaping the program and hosted a workshop. I now share the outcomes on various occasions. For COP28, my main hopes are for agreements on climate financing and decarbonization, and the implementation of all promises.
