Marcus Pratsch
Head of Sustainable Bonds & Finance
Marcus Pratsch is working as Head of Sustainable Bonds & Finance at DZ BANK AG in Germany. Marcus is a member of the standing committee of the Green and Sustainable Finance Cluster Germany.
From 2009 to the end of 2018 he was Head of Sustainable Investment Research at DZ BANK AG. He came onboard in 2009 to develop the bank’s sustainable investment research strategy launching it from naught to sixty. In 2011 he introduced the sustainability rating of DZ BANK Sustainable Investment Research – the bank’s own SRI rating methodology for listed equities. Furthermore he has successfully advanced the integration of sustainability criteria into the valuation process of various asset classes enabling the bank to extend its portfolio of sustainable products and services in Germany and abroad. Marcus is the author of numerous SRI sell-side research reports. He and his team at DZ BANK AG also supported the CDP by writing and producing the report for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
