Luisa Neubauer

Luisa Neubauer is a 27-year old climate activist from Germany and the most prominent representative of the German climate movement. In 2022, the TIME listed her as one of the 100 global emerging voices. In 2018 she met the Swedish student Greta Thunberg at the UN Climate Change Conference and then started the movement Fridays for Future in Germany together with other activists. Since then, Luisa Neubauer has been involved in organizing twelve global climate strikes, has met various heads of state and government, participated at four UN climate conferences and frequently speaks on global stages.
